Application Process: Applicants for the Street Tech program must be 18 or older, and residents of California. Applicants should also fall into one of two categories in order to be eligible for participation: disadvantaged or at-risk. All candidates must agree to go through the following steps:

• Attend Street Tech program orientation session.
  
• Fill out written application and provide proof of age, residence, and income.
  
• Undergo face-to-face interview with Street Tech Program staff.
  
• Complete Basic English, math, technical aptitude, and career interest tests.
  
• Provide a one page essay on 'Why I Want to Join Street Tech and How I Can Balance Street Tech with my Other Work and Family Responsibilities.'
