EMPLOYERS
Street Tech graduates are professionally certified
as entry level computer technicians and junior
systems administrators. Our courses provide practical,
hands-on experience as well as theoretical knowledge
taught by professional computer trainers with
many years of experience in the field.
Our students possess the following
qualifications:
- Industry standard PC Technician and Network
Technician certifications (i.e., A+ and Microsoft
Certified Professional)
- Hands-on experience with computer hardware
and software troubleshooting, upgrades, repair,
and maintenance. Familiarity with the latest
virus and spam prevention tools.
- Internet research and reporting skills
- Professional skills training - teamwork, communications,
responsible work habits, and succeeding on the
job.
- Internship experience fixing, refurbishing,
and troubleshooting PCs at our in-house computer
repair center (www.reliatech.org)
- Experiencing volunteering with local community
organizations and donating time to Street Tech
Street Tech pledges to work directly
with you, the employer, and your new Street Tech
employee to insure a successful job transition.
We offer monthly follow up calls and site visits
(as necessary) for six months after the hiring
date of Street Tech graduates.
